Hi! I'm Matthew Mabel.

For the last 30 years, I’ve been passionately focused on one thing: Helping restaurant owners grow profitably and achieve new levels of personal freedom than they ever thought possible.

I've operated and advised businesses during the oil bust in the 1980s, the recession of the early 1990s, 9/11, and the crash of 2008. I helped businesses survive and prosper through all four of these events, but the COVID crisis challenges us even more.

After spending the past month helping my clients and others save their restaurants, I’m determined to help as many independent restaurateurs survive and prosper from this crisis as possible.

Common Questions

Why are there two group options?

Over the last 30 years, I’ve exclusively served independent multi-unit restaurant owners. Now, this the first time in my consulting career I’m opening the door to single-unit owners. Since owners of 15 restaurants will face different challenges than single-unit owners, having two groups allows us to better address specific needs and place owners with best-fit peers.

What’s the size of the group?

The maximum group size is 10 owners.

What if I can't make the session?

Recordings will be available to all members in the group, and you’ll still have unlimited email access to Matthew to ask any specific questions.

What if I start late? Will you prorate the fee?

You can join a group late if you wish, but the fee is the same.

My restaurant company has multiple owners. Will a single membership give each of us access?

Membership is per owner — not per restaurant company. Each owner will need to register and pay separately. 

What is the refund policy?

If we cannot place you in a group for any reason, your fee will be refunded. Otherwise, fees are non-refundable, but you can choose not to renew your membership at the end of the quarter.

If there’s a price increase in membership, will I be charged extra?

No. The price you paid will be locked in for you until the point that you cancel – we look after our long-standing members.
